Below is a set of napkins that Bonnie embroidered using the “Filigree Christmas Tree” set. They turned out beautifully and grace our Christmas table every year. Marjorie Busby wrote a Craftsy blog article explaining how to embroider napkins. Marjorie is a very talented embroiderer and this article steps you right through the napkin process. Check it out at  http://www.craftsy.com/blog/2013/12/holiday-embroidery-tutorial/.

Holidays: “Filigree Christmas Tree

Now here is an amazing card! Barbara L. designed and embroidered this card using the “Filigree Christmas Tree” set.  Barbara passed on these special tips:

“I used white cotton Homespun material backed with iron on interfacing, hooped two layers of tearaway stabilizer. The stars stitched out beautifully with the gold metallic thread (which was AngelKing brand). Added some crystals - greens, golds, reds. Used three way cards that had the center fold cut out. Then decorated the front of the cards with self adhesive “Merry Christmas”, bells, stars, Christmas trees and border strips. I print my own center pages and stick it all together with double sided tape (the very thin type).”

A really beautiful and thoughtful sentiment. Thank you Barbara!
