Hi Bonnie - I am still trying to figure out how to use your product; I tried downloading the image on a flash drive, and although the image appeared on my machine, it made not sense to me. The colors came out red & blue for my initial first outline - strange. I have taken pictures of all my steps (downloading, etc.) and I will try again in the next few days to see if I can make something happen. One suggestion I do have tho, is for you to make a You Tube video showing the steps for the Bark Buddies; I think that is a popular item and more people would reach out to purchase more images if they (me!) could be confident in how to successfully complete an image. Thanks for letting me give you my input!

Hi Marilyn, Thanks for writing. Let's see if we can get you up and running. The first two colors really don't matter as far as color goes. They are only there for a step, not the end color to be seen. The first thread color is a placement line. That's to give you a visual of how big of a piece of material you will need for the applique and where to place it. The second thread color is to tack down the applique piece. You can follow along with the PDF tutorial that's included with the designs and/or the printed tutorial included with the GlitterFlex. Once the tack down is complete, you will trim around the material. I do have a tutorial explaining the process using a Merry Mermaid design as the process is the same for all applique designs. Also, it's always recommended that you follow the Color Chart included with your designs so you see which steps are 'placement,' 'tack down' or simply a fill. Not only that, sometimes embroidery machine will pick up strange colors with all the various conversions and software used. You can always use the colors you like, but it's a good idea to see the included Color Chart as a guide. You can always send me pictures at bonnie@sewinspiredbybonnie.com as I don't see any here. Here's a link to the Merry Mermaid tutorial I mentioned. https://sewinspiredbybonnie.com/pages/how-to-use-glitterflex
Hope this helps, Bonnie

Zip file

Bonnie answered my question very rapidly. Unfortunately I am still unable to unzip the file to use my design.

What are you trying to unzip your file onto? A tablet, a phone, a computer? We need more information to know what's happening. I believe I sent you to YouTube for a video on how to unzip a file to your computer. Bonnie

Love your designs and can’t wait to sew them out

Hi Linda--I'd like to help you. Can you give me a little more information about what you mean when you said, 'having hard time pulling up the download'? Please explain what you've tried and what doesn't seem to be working for you so I can help. Do you have the zip file downloaded to your computer? If so, all formats (9 of them), color charts and tutorials (if applicable) are included. You will need to unzip the zip file to get to all the formats and back up information. Do you have any software to view your designs? If so, which software are you using to view the files? Just let me know and I'll be happy to help. Bonnie
