Avoiding Puckers in Embroidery

Have you stitched a design and you know that it was stabilized properly but, when you pulled it out of the hoop and ironed it, the puckers started to show up? More than likely, that's because. . .

Ironing Embroidery to Perfection

Periodically, I get asked how I get my embroideries to lay so nice and flat and how do I get the thread to stand up off of the fabric. It is all about your ironing surface.

Mishaps Happen—GlitterFlex Removal

GlitterFlex can be used a lot of different ways. It's a fusible product, so sometimes we will fuse it in a spot we didn't intend for it to go, or maybe a scrap got under our iron that we didn't plan on being there.

Because we all have mishaps, I wanted to share . . .

Welcome!

It's been a long time coming, but we've finally created a new website with a brand new blog! Bonnie's Blog will be a place for us to connect, make new friends, share the love for our machine embroidery craft, and share some tips and project inspiration along the way. I'll also let you know about our new products when they become available.

We've been listening to your wants and desires for improvements. Some new features in our brand new website include customer log-ins giving you the ability to redownload past orders beginning with new purchases from this site (I'll be able to take care of past orders from the old site until 2019), easier checkout, and the ability to search for what you're looking for. On top of all of that, we've also added all my past Facebook LIVE "Tuesday's Tips" videos to the site on the left-hand panel. All videos are organized by category to make your life easier finding help when you need it.

We don't just sell designs and GlitterFlex, my passion is to help you grow and learn in this ever-changing craft. So whether you're an "old hat" at machine embroidery or brand new, I hope you find joy in the simple things, learn a new trick or two along the way, think outside of the box, and I wish to inspire you to try something new. Just remember, if it doesn't work out as planned, it's only fabric and thread. Nothing is ever a total loss. You can always take those lemons and make lemonade.

So grab your favorite beverage (I'm not a coffee drinker myself unless it's severely doctored up), sit back, and take a look around. Tell me what you think. Let's get inspired to create and have some fun along the way.
